Halloween Themed Foods 2022

This year many restaurants got into the Halloween spirit. Here are just a few for you to check out.

Krispy Kreme

The doughnuts look really cool, but the taste is average for a Krispy Kreme. They didn't have any special flavor to them and I think that is a big possibility that they are missing out on. The decoration does not hold up well. As I found out the hard way if you order less then 6 they just throw them in a bag that messes up the design. I actually had to tell the cashier that I wanted ones I could take a picture of and not just messed up ones. They had to redo my whole order in a box and the others were messed up so bad they couldn't be sold and just got tossed. If you are going to sell a product for its look then you need to take care with how you give it to the customer. I had this trouble at the location in the North Denver area. I haven't had this bad of service at the location down near Park Meadows.

Ziggi's Coffee

This drink is called the Beast. Their website describes the drink as a "concoction of chocolate, caramel sauce and crushed Twix decorated with purple white chocolate and dark chocolate drizzle." This is one of the best drinks I have had from a coffee shop and better then anything I have ever gotten from a Starbucks. At the same time it was super expensive. There was some novelty to this drink since it came with a sticker sheet where you could put a face on your drink. Fun, but not worth the price. While I was waiting I talked to another lady who was waiting for her order and she said that Ziggi's is the special treat for her and her family because of the price. This was really good and getting a seasonal drink here once a year isn't too bad, but not the everyday type of place. Cold Stone Halloween Flavors

This was actually two products in one. I just did half one flavor and half the other flavor.

I did add the mix in of the Halloween Oreo's.

Even though the color was fun, the ice cream had a really boring flavor. It didn't take like raw cake batter, but raw bread dough. It actually seemed yeasty. Not a good experience.

This was the better of the two. It really did have a strong pumpkin flavor. This one I would get again.
