2022 Holiday Foods/Drinks

Here are some of this year's holiday food finds.

Celestial Seasonings Nutcracker Sweet

This is a nice and smooth spiced tea that doesn't have the strong bite of other spiced teas. You can't get this in stores very often and when I want more, I normally have to go to their factory in Boulder.

Reindeer Cake Pop, Starbucks

I'm kind of indifferent to cake pops in general. I haven't found one that I could say was generally good. When I ordered this one the lady asked what flavor I wanted of the cake pops and I sad I didn't care I just wanted to try a reindeer one. Even while eating it I couldn't place a distinctive flavor. When I looked up the flavor online it said it was supposed to be vanilla, but it was really bland. Then there is the price. For the cost of ingredients they way over price it and the overall quality isn't worth it either. Not impressed and would not buy again.

Chestnut Parline Latte Iced, Starbucks

This was one of their holiday drinks. I love chestnuts and even roast my own each year and this drink does not taste anything like them. It didn't even taste nutty and was relatively bland except for the bitter taste that seems to go with most Starbucks drinks.

Amos 4D Gummy Blocks Seasonal Edition

These were really and you could actually stack them. The only problem is that they really didn't give you enough to make anything. You would probably need at least 3 boxes. The flavors were a little muted, but in a way that made them nice to eat.

Dunkin Cookie Butter Cold Brew
I wish Dunkin would have had a more holiday themed doughnut instead of just throwing colored sprinkles on a normal doughnut. As a strawberry doughnut it was slightly better then average since it was still moist. For holiday...not so good. It would have been cool if it would have been a peppermint frosting or some other holiday related flavor.

Mile Hi Popcorn Holiday Mix
Even though it is different colors it was just one flavor, their version of kettle corn. It was a good blend of sweet and salty. Not my favorite of their flavors, but fun for the holidays.

Clyde's Donuts Christmas White Iced Cake Donuts

Just a boring donut. The only good thing was that they were slightly moist and not entirely dried out. I found these at King Soopers trying to figure out what to eat for breakfast on Christmas morning.

Starbucks Snowman Cookie
The frosting on it wasn't too bad, but the cookie itself was bland and boring. It was slightly moist, but that probably comes from workers thawing them out.

Great Value Coffee Advent Calendar
I found this at Walmart and knew I had to try it because of all of the different flavors in it. Below I will cover the "holiday" flavors that don't fight into my other scheduled flavor posts. If they fit into one of those posts I will put my review there.

-- Holiday Blend
I'm not sure why they called this a holiday blend. There were no holiday flavors to it, not even spice. It was super bitter and it tasted over roasted.

12 Cocoas of Christmas (Marketplace Brands)
I found this gift set of hot chocolate in the holiday gift section of Walmart. Just like the Advent calendar above, I will list below the flavors that do not fit into my other flavored themed posts.

--Dark Chocolate
Tasted just like a normal hot, nothing special.

Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer Hot Cocoa Cereal
Basically in form very similar to Lucky Charms. There was actually an after taste to them that reminded me of mint even though they were not supposed to have mint in them. Not bad for a holiday inspired cereal.
