A Look At Trader Joe's

During the holidays I made my first real trip to Trader Joe's. They had been in Colorado for awhile, but there was never one really near me and making a commute to go to a special grocery store just didn't make since when I have other closer options.

This pasta did not taste better then pastas you can get elsewhere, but it did hold its color better then other colored pasta I have tried.

These were balls of amazingness. This was probably the best of the products I got at Trader Joe's, the problem is getting them more then once. I tried to go back and get me some more for New Year's Eve only to be disappointed that they would not be carrying them again until after January 10th. I had heard that the store rotates out their products, but this is an issue if there is a product you really like.

This is one of the best peppermint products I have ever tried. The peppermint, white chocolate, and pretzels mix perfectly, and it's really hard not to eat the whole bag in one sitting. I would highly recommend these.p

My mom liked these more then I did. Even with that they were still good and we would buy these again.

Normally vegan and gluten free are bad words that mean does not taste good. Truthfully, if I had noticed these before I bought them I wouldn't have gotten them. These did not have the mouth feel of a true marshmellow and did not melt in hot cocoa like one either. The only thing marshmallow about them was their shape. The peppermint flavor was super mellow to the point you had to question if it was there. Even with that it was hard to not eat the bag in one sitting. It wasn't that they were good exactly, but I think my brain was just trying to figure them out. Of the Trader Joe's items I tried this one was a bit disappointing.

Even though these had a good coating of seasoning on them it was a touch weak and it super dried out your mouth as you eat them. Wouldn't buy again.

This was about average for a pimento cheese dip.

Even though it was slightly better then similar wraps I have had at other places, it still wasn't that good.

This was what my mom had picked as her quick dinner item for the night. When she put it into the microwave it stunk up the whole house. She said that it tasted better then it smelled, but the smell was just so bad that I would not recommend this to anyone unless you are trying to prank someone.

This was about average for this type of salmon. What was nice about this product was its small size when compared to over products that may have you buy more then you want at a time.

My overall experience with Trader Joe's was OK. I wouldn't shop here normally. Just when I want to try something different and less mainstream.
