For this month's main snack run I decided to try somewhere I had never been before, Mmart in Aurora and they specialize in Korean and Japanese foods.
These actually had a slightly sweet taste that did not come from the chip itself, but from the coating on them. The sweetness is not overpowering but makes you want to keep eating them. They were really good and I would get them again.
The best way to describe this garlic snack is that they are basically croutons. They would taste really good in a salad. I did not get much of a garlic taste and there was also a slightly sweet aspect to them as well. For me eating croutons as a snack is not that weird since i will do it every now and then when I have left over croutons from salads. As a snack I wouldn't buy them again, but as a salad topper I would consider it.
These were very similar to the above snack. These were not hot or spicy on any level and also had a sweet taste to them.
Within Mmart they have a little bakery area. This matcha roll cake was one of the things we got to split from this place. It was not as dry as some of the similar cakes I have tried around town, but it still made me want to grab a drink of something to wash it down.
