Yesterday was 'The Big Game', yes I do not want to get into trouble for saying its name since it is copyrighted but you know what I mean, an I wanted to share my game day foods since not all of them match what other people eat when watching football.
Breakfast
This ramen I had gotten for free at the Lunar New Year event On Havana Street. |
I paired it with homemade ramen eggs. These were eggs that I had let soak in a mixture of soy sauce and sugar for 2 days. I go simple when making my ramen eggs, but they still become amazing salt bombs. |
'The Big Game' Lunch/Dinner
These were ribs I got from Costco. Everyone talks about the rotisserie chicken, but the ribs is where it's at. They are super juicy. I got them the day before and they warmed up nicely. |
For a game you need chips and dip. I decided to try and go slightly health with a sweet potato chip (also from Costco) which has in theory more vitamins then your average chip and guca for the good fats. |
Our plates also included egg rolls (also from Costco) as a finger food and we had Japanese BBQ sauce to dip both the egg rolls and ribs in. |
For desert we had these sweet Korean pancakes that you can get at Hmart. They were actually good folding into a taco shape and then putting in the sliced strawberries. |
The leftover strawberries we just ate straight. |
