When you think of cotton candy a very specific flavor comes to mind and it is normally super sweet at its heart. This flavor that inspires memories of childhood or going to the carnival. This "food" flavor has been adopted into the drink world as well. One of the things I noticed overall is that these drinks had a habit of tasting more like vanilla instead of cotton candy.
Clear American Cotton Candy Flavored Water
This water took the cotton candy flavor and made it taste like a medicine version cotton candy. It had an essence of cotton candy, but the flavor was distorted by something else they add to this water. It seemed to be more vanilla like then cotton candy. I don't think I would buy this flavor again. This brand of water you can find at Walmart.
Faygo Cotton Candy
This is the perfect example of the cotton candy flavor done right. This soda brings out the best sugar aspects of cotton candy. I found this in the cooler of the check out lane at Hmart in Aurora, Colorado.
Big Game Energy Cotton Candy
This drink was cotton candy like, but in the same way that cherry cough medicine is supposed to taste like cherries. It really did have a medicine like taste to it and left a bad after taste. I would not recommend this one. I found this at Walmart and tried it in December 2022.
Tokidoki Stellina Star Pop Blue Cotton Candy
This one was actually painful to drink. The 'blue' is sort of a warning. Like most blue cotton candy they went with a blue raspberry, but a sour version. The sour blue raspberry overpowered the cotton candy flavor and it also left a bad after taste. This one took me hours to drink because I could only do little sips and the wash it down with something else. I got this at Rocket Fizz.
Cotton Candy Soda Pop
I'm not really sure that this was cotton candy. It had a very strong vanilla flavor to it that made me think more of a frosted sugar cookie. I found this soda at Rocket Fizz. Tried February 2024.
Bang Cotton Candy
For an energy drink it wasn't too bad. At the same time it was still slightly sour. I would buy this one again, but it's not my favorite of their flavors.
Burger King Cotton Candy CloudThis was super good and it has been hard not to go back for more. Also the cloud part was really good with a vanilla flavor. I would highly recommend this drink.

Divine Flavor Organic Cotton Candy Grapes
This isn't the first brand of cotton candy grapes I have tried and I run into the same thing with each one. They don't taste like cotton candy, but they are extra sweet. Yes I would get these again, not because of the flavor exactly, but because they are one of the better grapes in general that I have tried. I found this brand at CostCo and I did also 'cook' with them. I put them in chicken salad and they worked well in it. Tried July 2024.
