Coconut Flavored Drinks

This is one of those flavors that I will fully admit that I am not fond of. That means that I have to try extra hard to remove that when I am trying to judge these drinks. For flavors like these I'm mostly looking for if the flavor is really there, are there other weird flavors, do the tastes blend, and overall experience of the drink.

Drinks You Can Pick Up At The Store

Dunkin Iced Coffee Girl Scout Coconut Caramel

I really had to hunt for the coconut flavor in this and I still did not find it. It tasted just like a caramel mocha. This is one of my mom's favorite cookies and I have eaten many of them over the years. This drink didn't even envoke the experience of eating one of these cookies. As a generic coffee drink it was average. As a coconut drink it failed. Tried February 2023.

Electrolit Coconut

Super gross. Not only was it a weird artificial coconut flavor that was kind of weak, but the texture of the liquid was slimy. I was expecting a normal liquid like Gatorade, but it was oddly thick when it didn't need to be. Stay away from this drink. I'm actually afraid to try their other flavors. Tried June 2024.

Hint Water Coconut

It was ok. I find most hint water to be too weak in flavor to be worth wasting the money and they also have a habit of tasting very artificial when compared to other flavored waters. I wouldn't get this again. Tried June 2024.

Deep Young Coconut Water

I found this drink at the new Taaza Market. For a coconut water it was rather gross. I say this because there was a super strong metallic taste to it. I wouldn't get it again. Tried August 2024. 

Gazab Coconut Milk Drink

This was another find at the new Taaza Mart. This did have a good coconut taste, but the pieces in it were hard and small. Not a good texture experience. I wouldn't get this one again. Tried July 2024.

Dr Pepper Creamy Coconut

This was surprising good. They made the coconut really pop. My mom doesn't like Dr Pepper, but said that she would be willing to drink this one after I got her to try it. This is a flavor I wish they would make permanent or bring it back each summer. Tried May 2024. 

Drinks At Restaurants

Strawberry Coconut Ice (Sharetea)

This was a drink in their Coconut Dreamland Series. You could choose to also have their crystal bobas or not. I found this drink to be way too strong on the coconut side and it overpowered the strawberry. They would have needed to double the strawberry flavor to give it a chance to compete with the coconut. If you like coconut this could be a good drink for you, but if you are wanting strawberry you would need to pick another drink. Tried February 2023.

Coconut Pie Slushie (Golden Corral) 

This was very coconut forward with nothing to give it the 'pie' taste. It was good and I would get it again. Tried May 2024.

Coconut Shake (Bubblelicious)

This was actually one of the best coconut drinks I had for this post. I totally felt like I should have been on a beach drinking this. The coconut was both strong and perfect. Tried June 2024.

Coconut Slush (Snowl)

Of the drinks from restaurants this was one of the better ones. I really felt like I needed to be on a beach drinking it. I would order this one again. Tried July 2024.

Blue Coconut Soda (Buc-ee's)

It was good and I would get it again, but at the same time the coconut flavor seemed a little watered down when I compare it to other coconut flavored drinks. It is very similar to the coconut flavoring that Sonic uses in their drinks, but much weaker. Tried August 2024.

Coconut Snow (BeanTree)

Very coconutty. It was really good and I felt like I needed to find a beach to sit on while drinking it. Tried July 2024.

Coconut Milk Tea

It barely had any coconut taste to it. It was so weak that I questioned if it was even there. I've tried much better drinks at this place and was surprised in how disappointing this one was. Tried July 2024.
