How To Train Your Dragon Food Partnerships
Kung Fu Tea
For this partnership Kung Fu Tea has three new drinks that focus on dragon fruite. For my first time trying the drinks I bought two, one for me and one for my mother.
For each drink you bought you get one pack of cards. For the cups at this location they were still using the cups from their last partnership, Strawberry Shortcake, but they did have the dragon lids/seals.
Stormfly's Dragonfruit Splash
This drink was for me and was $6 and some change. I was not a fan of the drink. It was very drying in taste and I felt like I needed a different drink to make up for how thirsty this drink made me. I think there was something weird in how the dragon fruit was processed for the drink mix that caused the issue. I wouldn't get this drink again.
This drink was for my mother. First it didn't look at all like the pictured drink. The guy said it came with a milk cap which was the white stuff in the picture. This drink we were charged $9 and some change with no modifications on our side. The price point alone made this drink not worth it compared to other drinks on the menu. But the kicker was that this drink suffered from the same problems as the other drink. It was super drying. Not a good drink in any way and not worth the price at all.
On our second trip to a different location to try and get the third drink we were told by the staff that they were sold out of the stuff to make the drinks, but that they still had the cards they could give us. They also had all of the cards out on display for people to see. When I first walked in I was greeted by a stack of horned crowns.
The first item I got to try from the menu was the Fiery Dragon Mozzarella Fries. They were okish. They were not that spicy and the price was high for just a few pieces. Overall I would say they are not worth the price.

The second thing I got to try on a different day was the Viking's Chocolate Sundae. It was way smaller then I was expecting. It was supposed to have black and green cookie crumbles, but they tasted just like Oreo cookies. SO it turned out to be a very basic sundae. It would have been cooler if they would have had like dragon blood flavored something. Anything to bring some type of flavor to it.
Overall, I was super disappointed in the How to Train Your Dragon menu at Burger King. There was no unique flavors or flavor combination. They just colored the product (like making the bun orange instead of orange flavored), put the product in special wrappers, or just renamed their normal food. The toys were cute though. They really need to step up their game if they are going to be doing these food promotions.
